We are up early the next morning.
Catastrophe’s victory is still all over the TV news. Otto is modest about his achievement, but he is a hero in the Cats’ Collective. Kittens are chasing him for his autograph.
Please turn on your sound to hear the videos.
We see the victory celebration being broadcast over and over on the Cat TV Channel.
We are still considering how to get back to Adelaide. We are here for a few days. I wouldn’t mind staying for longer, but funds will run low. Everything is more expensive in Sydney.
Mitzi and I sit enjoying the view of Sydney Harbour and the famous bridge as the sun appears. Sandy and Otto are hungry and waiting for the waitress to arrive with our breakfast.
Today, I’m trying again to book our transport. It’s unusual, as this is usually a busy time of year for the magic carpets, and yet none are to be seen. Cats who have booked a carpet to get to an event are being forced to walk or line up in vain for a feline taxi.
The desk attendant says they are overwhelmed with requests and, although they are trying to help as best they can, there are no more tickets available on buses, planes, or trains. We are now considering Bruno’s offer more seriously. I have never been on a cruise liner or taken a luxurious trip like that.
Bruno texted me, urging us to take up his offer. He is particularly keen to attract Saphira and the kittens and has offered them a handsome sum.
Otto says he is thinking of taking a motorbike back to Adelaide if we have no luck booking anything else, and Sandy might go with him. That is a long trip overland, but the two are young and full of energy.
After breakfast, Sandy and Mitzi decide to do a bit of shopping in the big city, while Otto and I head off for the gym.
