And so much preparation: talks and more talks, slide shows— I thought they had gone out of fashion long ago, but apparently not, and a great deal of bustling around in preparation. Some crew will stay at the resort, and others will join the Cataloupe 3 from Bruno’s resort. There will be a fresh supply of goods from the island’s renowned fisheries, and some of their cooks will bring us tropical flavours and local cuisine. And everyone is so looking forward to this short stay.
This Dream Island poster has been visible in the staff canteens for and while and seems to rivet everyone’s attention. When one is toiling away cleaning and cooking, waiting on the pampered guests and hurrying, hurrying, to get through the day’s tasks, it looks like a little slice of feline heaven.
The resort is very popular and well patronised year-round. Visitors come and go via the private airline Bruno owns. This airline services many of his enterprises and also cities where he has offices. The regular cruise ships also transfer both visitors and goods, so there will be a changeover of both passengers and staff when the Cataloupe 3 departs. Mitzi has heard that several new performing acts will join the ship, although she doesn’t have the precise details yet.
