That night I dream and am so restless that I wake several times and take myself up to the Yacht Club deck for a walk. I lean over the rail and stare into the distance. The moon is reflecting on the water, making it glint in places. It is quiet. I return to my bed, and on falling asleep, I find myself in the past, months ago, before we started this adventure, before dear Freya passed to the Rainbow Bridge. We are back in Norwood. Freya is getting on well in her art studio in the Cat Collective. The exhibition is coming soon, and we find her hard at work finalising her pieces for the show.

At lunch, we order food from the Collective restaurant. Freya says she must keep creating while the inspiration is at its peak. Of course, we can sympathise with this. Both Otto and I have been practising all morning.

It is beautiful here. How lucky we are to have this magnificent facility for felines, right on my doorstep. From this aspect, we can see the garden at the Cat Collective. The garden is a relaxing place to take a break from our creative efforts. Like the Collective building, the garden is inaccessible to humans, so it is a great place for us to gather our thoughts and recharge.
After lunch, Freya keeps on working all afternoon. I visit her in the studio and capture this image of her busy at her easel.
This is only a dream, alas. In the morning, when I wake up, I feel the pangs of loss once again. So sharp. Time does not allow us to forget dear friends, and in my case, at least, I would never wish to forget. I hold the memories of Freya close.
