After making friends with Saphira and Mitzi, Sirin confides in Saphira she has always longed to dance and would love to take some classes. Where she lives it is practically impossible to find an expert teacher, so when Saphira says she is about to start tap dancing classes, Sirin immediately puts her name down for the first lesson.
The classes are terrific fun. Some of the kittens taking part are much younger than Sirin and already experienced dancers, but all join in with great energy.
Sirin attends regularly, and soon Saphira starts additional classes. Saphira is so impressed with their progress that she negotiates with the activities staff to put on a small event in one of the exclusive Yacht Club members’ theatres. Many of the young lady cats are not aiming to become performers, but it will give them the opportunity to show off their skills to their family and friends.
