Lunch in the Crew Canteen

It’s an eye-opener to have lunch in one of the crew canteens. Everything is spic and span, and a variety of food is offered to cater for individual tastes. We go to the canteen for felines in our area of the ship, but I’m surprised that some of the crew come from the USA. There are a few rabbits and a fox, and even a skunk.

Mitzi says, ‘We should have expected this, Sasha. The cruise ships are international, and the sailors live on board most of their time, unless the ship is in port.’

Maybe we can pick up more information from some of these exotic crew.

I have to keep reminding myself that we must ride with the tide and adapt if we are to survive.

A note: these are all fantasy images, not real scenes, and they were created with AI from the author’s text.

Good noms are impawtent. Did you see they are ending Sora? Is there another program you like?

Sora is great. I didn’t know it was ending. I haven’t been able to use the Lite version for a while because of restrictions. It produced such entertaining dialogue. I have access to others, but they don’t compare for this sort of work.

        Which ones have you used?

I subscribe to Adobe Firefly and have tried some of their offerings. The Veo versions are the closest to Sora, as they do sound. I haven’t found any others that do sound. Some of the ones on offer are hopeless for story work. And it is frustrating having to make many attempts to get what you want. I have to be so careful to make them not include humans. It is often fatal to specify no humans, as they seem to then include humans almost in spite. Nowadays I just say, ‘exclusively feline’ or similar wording, which works better.

Nice to see such good mannered diversity in the crew. Harmony all round makes a happy crew and passengers, as well as the boss!
