I help Freya pack as best I can. I think the suitcase is too small for all the gifts she has bought for her family. She says she won such a lot of money at Melbourne when we went to the Grand Final of the football competition and she is happy to share it around. She was lucky as she used her instincts to bet on the title of the team rather than their reputation. I refrained from betting at all.
She selected some awkwardly shaped items that are hard to pack. She insisted on taking Australian souvenirs for her family. I checked some of these and they were made in China. But I said nothing. It pleases her and that is what matters most. I am feeling that I will miss her very much.
