Freya and Mitzi take the kittens to the highly regarded costume shop run by Mitzi’s cousin. The cousin has won numerous feline awards for her creative designs. This will be the ideal place to get their outfits for the fairy concert. The kittens are excited.
Mitzi has decided they will take the kittens on a beach picnic as it will be relaxing for them after all their hard work rehearsing for the concert. Freya has made good friends with Mitzi and the two of them head off together to pick up the kittens and board the tram. After the beach they will walk up to the costume shop.
On the way the practise their singing with Mitzi in the lead. Freya is most impressed at the skills of both Mitzi and these delightful kittens.
After our singing practice it seems no time before the tram is pulling up at our destination. The kittens are all prepared, with their emergency packs loaded up with snacks and grooming tools. The tram comes to an abrupt halt in the shopping centre. The driver must have pulled the brakes on more sharply than usual. I looked around, but none of the kittens seemed disturbed. They are so resilient at that young age.
I hope they don’t get too sandy at the beach because I don’t want to bring a bunch of bedraggled looking kittens into my cousin’s establishment. I find her a little intimidating, although she is so close to me in another ways. She is such a successful designer, with so many awards. And she is doing my class an immense favour, providing all their costumes from her kittenware hire section at only the minimal charge for cleaning.
It is a lot of pressure. I need to relax. Freya is so calm. Sasha says she is a good influence on me. I know I get agitated too easily. I suppose I am a perfectionist. Born a perfectionist and always a perfectionist, as my mother always said. She was the same.
