After we finish our rowing on the lake, I take Otto and Freya to meet my friend Mitzi at the Cat Aquatics Club. I have know Mitzi for a long time. She is very active in helping kittens develop their talents and teaching them how to be good citizens. She is a certified Cat Adventurer. We share a delicious afternoon tea at one of the club venues near the water. It is lovely to be among compatible
felines. We have a big day coming up tomorrow at the big Grand Final motor racing event in the Parklands. So we need to take it easy the rest of the day.
Otto, Freya and I settle at a table near the water. Mitzi hasn’t shown up and she texts me that she is nearly there, but has been delayed by the traffic at this time of day.

Mitzi arrives and then Freya is distracted by a group of fans and has to pose with them for selfies.

When Freya returns , she settles on a couch for a rest. I notice her eyes are shut and I hope she isn’t getting worn out. She has a big event coming up and needs to save her voice from strain.
Freya is looking more lively, so I decide to move to another table overlooking the river.
A cool breeze soon revives us. I am pleased Freya looks better and she and Mitzi seem to get along well. They are both very superior female cats and I sometimes feel intimidated by their accomplishments. The food was great. I ordered specialities such as salmon when I booked the table. I know Freya loves fish. You can see one of the club staff is checking that everything is satisfactory.
