We check into our hotel where a small white cat greets us, saying, ‘Bienvenue à Paris!’
We have already eaten, but the table loaded with food attracts us anyway, especially me, as I am not fond of chips, but roast chicken looks attractive and the bears are excited to find a giant pot of honey. The hotel staff have even provided some cactus flowers. They must have checked to find they are a favourite of Peruvian bears.
The pets are excited to see a view of the Eiffel Tower from our window and can’t wait to explore the city.
The little white cat stays to give us a quick language course and share some of my chicken.
