I think we’ll be watching the Coronation tonight. I asked Lynette if I have to swear fealty and she isn’t sure. I am a loyal cat subject.
But what if we become a Republic?
‘Don’t worry,’ she said. ‘I’m sure the King would understand your position. Our Prime Minister is a Republican and he is pledging his loyalty. Let’s see how the wind blows.’
That’s a good idea. It’s so chilly outside that I gave up feeling the wind and am now lying in my heated cosy.
