We have a new monster. It has a flashing light and makes a loud whirring noise. Lynettea says it will keep the dust down.
The dust is already down. She must mean whirling it up into the monster.
I stand there with fur bristled, silently wishing it would keep quiet.
‘Look at your mock grass, Sasha,’ she says. ‘It is much cleaner already!’
She empties a big heap of fluffy dust into the bin from the monster’s pouch. Where has all the dust been hiding?
Next the monster attacks my velvet house. Just as well I have gone to the bedroom.
I don’t like it!
