I was right. We were waiting. A man came to change the water filter.
He said, ‘Where’s the cat?’ as he remembered me from last year. I am a very memorable cat.
He saw me rush past down the hallway and dash into the bedroom. I went into my safe place, my cosy under the bed, and Lynettea shut the door to the bedroom for me, so I would not feel frightened. I might stay here for a while now . . .
It is nice and dark and cool.

You kitties are very brave and confident. Lynettea thinks I need confidence building, but she is not sure how. She thinks that if I feel I need a safe place, I should have one.
That is what we do too.
WE need to observe strangers while we determine if they are safe to be around.
