I know this is a cat blog, but Lynettea told me she saw on Facebook that it was penguin appreciation day, and she happens to have just taken some photos of the fairy penguins at Adelaide Zoo enjoying their swimming pool. Personally, I am not fond of swimming, but I can see its attraction in this hot weather.

yes Summer, penguins are birds. You are not likely to see any, unless your human takes you on a trip where they live in the wild. Cats are not allowed in zoos. Another instance of unwarranted discrimination against cats.
We love penguins! Smart of them to go swimming when it's so hot. 🙂
