I heard her talking about going away again. Is it heartless to leave me in my less than peak condition?
She keeps pestering me to eat my food. I even have to try to eat my food when I am lying down in my blankets. Miaouwwww. I cannot help it if I am thinner and bonier. I have the same number of bones, but not so well covered.
Will she leave me alone again?

Unfortunately, that loss of muscle and subsequent boniness often comes with being a senior!
What's worse, though, is being abandoned. Very heartless indeed!

Oh Diamond, I'm so sorry you're being abandoned. Well, you can take some comfort in knowing that She will feel horrible the entire time She's gone, knowing that you're not 100%. Our mom can barely stay away from us one night when one of us is doing poorly. And me – I'm not sick, just skinny, and she hates to leave me alone. So, I just bet she'll be back reeeeeal soon. 🙂

Oh Diamond! Why are you being left when you are so unwell? Such a terrible thing! Has your mum tried raw ground meat? How about some nice ham fresh off the bone! When we are ill, mum gives us canned mackerel or salmon (for humans) Not the fancy kind in the little cans but the smelly stuff in the big cans. It has a nice robust aroma that can draw us from all over the house. If there is anything that you'd like, want or need from the U.S., just say the word and we will get in the mail strait away!
