Diamond is not feeling up to posting yet. He came home this afternoon after a lot of blood tests, fluid drip, injections for nausea and enemas. The Vet is still not sure exactly why Diamond was vomiting.
He gave me some tablets and tried to give one of them to Diamond before we came home, then said he didn’t realize a cat could hold a tablet in his mouth for so long and then spit it out. Diamond doesn’t like tablets much. Eventually, after another try, he did swallow the tablet. I hope he takes them tomorrow.
Thank you to all the kitties who wrote to Diamond. He is sitting quietly on the carpet now, but still hasn’t used his litter tray properly.

Dear Lynette,
Me is purraying for Diamond! Hissy old Licorice used to hold his pills just like that too. Mommy finally crushed them up and mixed them with cream (he liked cream) and squirted them down his throat! Then he got better.
Me hopes Diamond gets better.

Yes, we kitties are very good about holding those tablets in our mouths! My human thought I was being very good about the pills I take… then she started finding them around the house. Now when she opens my mouth she really aims for the back of my throat when she throws them in, so I have no choice but to swallow.

About the tablet, I heard from lots of friend. When they got sick and have to take it, Their mommy will crush it and mix with food. Or Crush and insert it inside the treat. May be your mommy can give a try to help you take it.Hugs

Thank you for the update, Lynettea. We are glad to hear that Diamond is at home and resting. We hope and pray the vets figure out the source of his ailment, and that it is something that can be treated.
